I wish you all the best with your visa application. Fortunately, there are more to having just a visa. There are career aspirations, family life, cultural adjustments and many others. I have lived in New Zealand for 12 years now and I am proud to say that I have learned the "Kiwi" way.

We all want to maximise our new life here in New Zealand. The most popular question that I usually come across with is: "How did you do it?". It was 12 years in the making, I always reply. It was not easy, if anything else, it was tough. I never gave up.

 

Thankfully, 5 years ago I met my mentor who has been guiding me all the way through. I believe that made a significant difference. My only wish is that I wish I met my mentor since I moved here. Maybe, life would have been easier ahead. Nevertheless, it is never too late and everything is part of the learning process.
